About Adriaflor

Adriaflor and its sister company in Croatia, Original Distillery, were founded by Catherine Zurak with the intention of producing and selling aromatherapy grade essential oils directly from the distiller.

Not all essential oils are distilled for their therapeutic value. Most are distilled at a high temperature and high steam pressure for a short time for economical reasons. Consequently, many beneficial chemical components of the essential oils are destroyed or are never distilled. Adriaflor prides itself on distilling whole essential oils, rich in therapeutic value that are also free of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers.



About Original Distillery Essential Oils

At present, Original Distillery distills three essential oils:

Spike Lavender (lavandula spica ch. linalol)
High in linalol, lower in camphor than other spike lavenders.
Excellent for respiratory conditions, skin conditions, cosmetics.

Hybrid Lavender (lavandula hybrida ch. linalol)
Hand picked from small plots. Highest in linalol. Calming.

Rosemary (rosmarinus officinalis)
Contains verbenon, camphor and 1.8 cineol. A great aromatherapy essential oil.
